Where to Get Zen and Jewels on Zenaria

Zen and Jewels drop from monsters, events, and daily rewards. We've put together working sources for newbies and veterans: where to go, what to farm, and how to trade your loot.

Zen: Monster Farming and Events

Regular Zen drops from most monsters: the general money drop group has a 35% chance. The faster you kill mobs at your level, the more stable your income.

Champions on maps from Tarkan onward give one reward per kill: a Jewel with a 45% chance (Chaos, Bless, Soul, less often Life and Creation) or Zen with a 30% chance, monster level × 30,000. They spawn every 20 minutes if the previous one is already dead.

Blood Castle, Devil Square, Chaos Castle, and Illusion Temple events have rewards as in original Season 6. They run on a schedule, exact time and timers on the Events page.

Don't forget daily login: on the third day of the cycle you get 3M Zen, and the first hero of the account gets 500,000 Zen at start.

All Zen bonuses together cannot exceed x2. Pet Unicorn gives +50% Zen, Seal of Wealth +50%, but you can't go above x2.

Regular Jewels: Monster Drop

Jewel of Bless and Jewel of Soul are in the general jewel drop group with a 0.5% chance from a monster. This is the main source for upgrading weapons and armor.

Jewel of Chaos drops from monsters level 12+ with a 0.15% chance. Jewel of Life and Jewel of Creation drop even less often: general chance 0.1%.

JewelDrop ChanceCondition
Jewel of Bless, Jewel of Soul0.5%any monster
Jewel of Chaos0.15%monsters 12+
Jewel of Life, Jewel of Creation0.1%any monster

Farming jewels is better on maps with lots of monsters at your level. Don't spend Bless and Soul right away: save them for upgrading your main weapon.

Invasion Events

Invasions of White Wizard and Red Dragon run on a schedule, exact time on the Events page. When you finish off Red Dragon, it gives Gemstone, Jewel of Harmony, packs of 10 Jewels, and Goblin Points.

Daily Rewards and Starter Set

The first hero of the account gets 500,000 Zen at start, no starter Jewels. Better not spend Jewels right away, keep them for upgrading your weapon.

The login reward cycle repeats every 7 days. If you miss a day, the cycle starts over.

  • Day 2: Jewel of Bless
  • Day 3: 3M Zen
  • Day 4: Jewel of Soul
  • Day 5: 2 Jewel of Bless
  • Day 6: Jewel of Life
  • Day 7: Jewel of Chaos, 2 Jewel of Bless, 2 Jewel of Soul

Day 1 gives potions, it's not about Jewels and Zen, but you can't skip it: then the cycle starts over.

Market and Jewel Trading

Looted items and extra Jewels can be sold to other players for Goblin Points on the Market. The seller sets the price, 5% commission is burned from each sale. In game you can do the same through a personal store (P key): it also trades only for Goblin Points, from 1 to 100,000 GP, same 5% commission.

It's also convenient to buy a missing Jewel there if farming it takes too long.
