Leveling and Character Stats on Zenaria

I'll walk you through leveling on Zenaria: rates, offline leveling, resets, and manual stat allocation. With these commands, you decide what kind of hero you'll build.

Where to start: starter pack and first steps

The first hero on your account gets 500,000 Zen at the start. With that pack, the early levels fly by, but don't rush to spend the jewels: save them for upgrading your weapon once you get a decent one. For the first three days, you get wings that you can't trade or sell, and they disappear after 72 hours. By then, you can realistically craft your own wings in Chaos Machine if you don't waste time.

For more on jewels and upgrading, check the jewels guide and the upgrade guide. The wings themselves are described in the wings section.

How to level fast: rates, party, mentor

Base server rates: x5,000 EXP and x10 master EXP. If Happy Hours are active in the world, check the time and multiplier on the Events page. Parties up to five players: with a full party of five, everyone gets 70% of solo EXP. For 3, 4, or 5 different classes in the party, you get an extra +3%, +5%, or +15% EXP.

Mentor: an experienced player (350+ level, has a reset or master levels) in the same party as a newbie with no resets, and within 30 tiles of them. The newbie gets +50% Zen from monsters, while the mentor earns Goblin Points. If you haven't logged in for 7+ days, you get +20% EXP for 24 hours, but a purchased seal replaces that bonus. All EXP bonuses together cap at +50%, so don't chase everything at once. Pick your leveling spots in the spots section, and check the leveling guide for general tips.

Offline Leveling

Zenaria's unique feature is offline leveling. Pick a spot where your hero can handle it solo: if the monsters are too strong, the helper won't save you. Set up MU Helper with the skills and behavior you want, stand in a safe spot, and type /offlevel. The client closes, but your character stays in the world and keeps killing monsters according to the helper settings. When you log back in, leveling stops on its own. It's great to run overnight or while you're at work.

Stats: what they do and how to allocate

Stats are raised manually or automatically. The main stats: strength (str) for damage and weapon requirements for warriors; agility (agi) for defense, attack speed, and archer damage; vitality (vit) for health; energy (ene) for mana, magic damage, and curse damage for Summoner; command (cmd) only for Dark Lord, controlling pets and lord skills.

You can allocate points with commands: /addstr 100, /addagi 100, /addvit 100, /addene 100, /addcmd 100. To avoid clicking after every level, use auto-allocation: /addstr auto 1000 sends the next 1000 free points into strength, /addstr auto sends all free points into strength with no limit. Check the queue with /auto, turn everything off with /auto off. Messed up your stats? /resetstats returns all allocated points and costs 5M Zen.

Your class choice affects allocation: for Dark Knight and Rage Fighter, strength is key; for Dark Wizard, energy; for Fairy Elf, agility; for Grow Lancer, strength and agility are equally important. Magic Gladiator and Dark Lord are more flexible but need balance.

Resets: how you get stronger

A reset returns your hero to level 10, resets stats to their initial values, and gives free points. Each next round is stronger than the last. Type /resetinfo to see the exact numbers for your hero, and use /reset to reset.

ResetLevelCostPoints (Dark Lord)
1stfrom 35020M Zen500 (600)
2ndfrom 36040M Zen1,000 (1,200)
3rdfrom 37060M Zen1,500 (1,800)
4thfrom 38080M Zen2,000 (2,400)
5thfrom 390100M Zen2,500 (3,000)
6th+from 40020M Zen × number, max 300M Zen500 × number (600 × number)

Each reset gives 20 Goblin Points. Every map has its own reset cap. If you have more resets than the cap, EXP is reduced by 3% for each extra reset, but not below 40%. There's no newbie bonus. Seals, pets, and the mentor bonus are added on top of EXP.

Master levels and further leveling

After level 400, master leveling kicks in: up to 200 master levels. Master EXP comes from monsters starting at level 95, with a rate of x10. It's a separate long stage, but it unlocks master skills and further growth. For more on master levels, check the master level guide.
