What a grand reset is
A grand reset is the next step after regular resets. It opens when your hero has 100 resets and level 400. Resets go back to zero and you walk the path again, now with permanent bonuses that stack with every grand reset.
Command: /grandreset or short /gr. The first time the server shows what burns and what it costs. Repeat the command within 30 seconds to confirm.
It is not available in a party, during a trade or in an event: leave the party and do it in town.

The x200 world has its own numbers: 50 resets and level 400, 1 billion zen and 10 Jewels of Creation. The damage and defense bonus there grows up to grand reset #1,000.
Packed Jewels of Creation count too. Zen and jewels are taken only on confirmation, and if something goes wrong the server returns them.

What resets and what stays
After a grand reset:
- resets become 0, level 10;
- stats go back to the class start, and you get as many free points as at zero resets plus 2,000 for every grand reset done;
- the reset EXP penalty is gone, leveling is fast again;
- your hero is moved to the home town and the game returns you to character selection.
Skills, items, inventory and guild stay.
Permanent bonuses stack: +3% damage and +3% defense per grand reset. They grow up to grand reset #10, so the cap is +30% damage and +30% defense.
Rewards
- Goblin points: 1,000 GP times the grand reset number. The first gives 1,000, the second twice as much, and so on. Spend them in the X shop and on the market.
- Grand reset chest in your inventory. It holds one guaranteed item: a 30% chance of an ancient +2…+4, otherwise an excellent +11…+13 from the strongest gear in the game.
- The whole server sees an announcement of your grand reset.

Ranking and badge
The site has a separate Grand resets ranking. In Strongest heroes grand resets are compared first, then regular resets, then level.
In the ranking and the hero profile a star appears next to the name: bronze for 1–2 grand resets, silver for 3–4, gold for 5–7, flaming from 8. From 3 grand resets the name gets a special color on the site.
How to prepare
Level your hero to 400 on the last reset round and collect 1 billion zen and 10 Jewels of Creation in advance. Keep a free inventory slot for the chest.
After the grand reset don't rush back to hard maps: the first rounds go fast, and the damage and defense bonuses make your hero stronger every time. More in the fast leveling guide.
