MU Online on your phone: how it works

Zenaria is a free MU Online Season 6 Episode 3 server with two worlds: classic x40 and fast x100. The Android client connects to the same server as the Windows and Mac versions, so on your phone you play the same MU Online: the same classes, items, Blood Castle, Devil Square, castle siege, market and guilds.

The app is about 22 MB, downloads the game world on first launch (about 1.5 GB) and then updates itself. You need Android 9 or newer and a 64-bit processor — almost all phones and tablets from recent years qualify. Log in with the same account as on the website and on PC.

What it can do

One accountYou play on PC in the evening, and during the day you log in from your phone with the same character. Nothing to transfer.
Controls made for your fingerA joystick for walking, a big attack button and a skill fan. Tap a player and a menu opens: trade, party, duel.
Helper and offline levelingThe Auto button turns on the helper: it attacks, heals and picks up loot on its own. Close the game — your character keeps leveling on the server.
Phones and tabletsThe interface size is adjustable: on a tablet the windows are bigger, on a phone everything fits on the screen.
X Shop and chatShop, trading, guild, friends and chat with all players, including those on PC.
Updates itselfThe new version downloads on launch, and all you need to do is tap "Update". No need to visit the site for every build.

How to install

Zenaria is not on Google Play yet, so the app is installed from an APK file from our site. This is the usual way for games outside the store: Android will ask for permission once, and Play Protect may warn you about an unfamiliar app.

Download the APK. Open this page on your phone and tap "Download APK". Wi-Fi is better: the file is about 22 MB.
Open the file. Tap the notification about the finished download. If there isn't one, open the "Files" app (or "My Files") → "Downloads" → Zenaria-Android.apk.
Allow the installation. Android will say "For your security, your phone is not allowed to install unknown apps from this source". Tap "Settings", turn on "Allow from this source" and go back with the back button.
Tap "Install". If a Google Play Protect window appears saying "Blocked by Play Protect" or "Unsafe app", tap "More details" and "Install anyway". If there is no such button, see below how to turn the scan off temporarily.
Launch the game. On first launch Zenaria will download the world data — wait a couple of minutes. Log in with the username and password of your account or sign up right in the game.

Play Protect: how to turn off the scan

Open the Google Play app.
Tap the profile icon at the top right → "Play Protect".
Tap the gear at the top right and turn off "Scan apps with Play Protect".
Install Zenaria and turn the scan back on — it doesn't affect the game.

FAQ

Can you play MU Online on Android?

Yes. Zenaria has a MU Online Season 6 client for Android: download the APK on this page, install it and log in with your account. It is the full game on the same server as the PC version.

Is it the same MU Online as on PC?

Yes. The same Season 6 Episode 3 server, the same x40 and x100 worlds, the same classes, items, events and market. Players on phone and PC meet in the same world, trade and join the same guilds.

Can I play the same hero on phone and PC?

Yes. There is one account for all devices: play on PC in the evening, log in with the same hero from your phone during the day. Characters and items are stored on the server.

Is it free?

Yes. Downloading and playing are free. Premium and goblin points on the website are optional.

What phone do I need?

Android 9 or newer, a 64-bit processor (arm64), 4 GB of RAM or more and about 1.5 GB of free space. Almost all phones and tablets from recent years qualify.

Why isn't the game on Google Play?

For now Zenaria is distributed as an APK file from the website. Android will ask once to allow installs from this source, and Play Protect may warn about an unfamiliar app — this is normal for games from outside the store.

How do the touch controls work?

A joystick on the left for walking, a big attack button and a fan of skills on the right. Tapping a player opens a menu: trade, party, duel, guild. The Auto button turns on the assistant.

Does it work on a tablet?

Yes. The interface size can be adjusted in the game: on a tablet, windows and slots are larger.

Is there an iPhone version?

Not yet: for now there are clients for Android, Windows and Mac on Apple Silicon.

If it won't install

"App not installed"

Most often there isn't enough space: free up 2 GB and try again. If a different build of Zenaria that didn't come from our site was installed before, uninstall it and install again. Another cause is a phone with a 32-bit processor or Android older than 9: the game doesn't run on those.

"There was a problem parsing the package" or "File is corrupted"

The file didn't download completely. Delete it from "Downloads" and download it again over Wi-Fi, preferably in Chrome. Don't open the APK from Telegram or other messengers — they often corrupt or truncate the file.

Play Protect blocked the installation

In the warning window tap "More details" → "Install anyway". If there is no button, turn off the scan for the time of installation (see the instructions above) and turn it back on afterwards. The warning appears for every game not from Google Play and doesn't mean there is anything wrong with the file.

Samsung: "Auto Blocker" prevents installation

Samsung phones with One UI 6 and newer have "Auto Blocker", which forbids any APK. Turn it off: "Settings" → "Security and privacy" → "Auto Blocker" → turn off. You can turn it back on after installing.

Xiaomi, Redmi, POCO: warning and timer

MIUI and HyperOS check the app themselves and show a timer — wait for the countdown to end and tap "Install" or "Install anyway". If it asks you to sign in to a Mi account, you can tap "Cancel" and allow the installation in "Settings" → "Privacy protection" → "Install unknown apps".

Huawei and Honor without Google

There is no Play Protect there. On the first installation the phone will ask you to allow installing from this source — allow it. If "Pure mode" is on, turn it off for now: "Settings" → "System & updates" → "Pure mode".

The "Install" button doesn't respond

Android blocks the button when something is drawn over the screen: a blue light filter, floating messenger windows, screen recorders, FPS counters. Turn them off for a minute and try again.

I can't find the downloaded file

Open "Files" (Google) or "My Files" (Samsung) → "Downloads". You can also open the browser menu → "Downloads".

It installed, but won't start or crashes

Close other apps and launch again: the game needs at least 4 GB of RAM. The first launch takes longer than usual — the game is downloading the world. If it keeps crashing, the app will send us a report on its own; write to us with your phone model and what happens.

How to update and how to uninstall

No need to update manually: when a new version comes out, the game downloads it and opens the installer itself — tap "Update". It uninstalls like any app: long-press the icon → "Uninstall". Characters and items are stored on the server and won't go anywhere.
