Why it's convenient

  • Native macOS app

No Wine, CrossOver, Parallels or Windows emulation. The client is built for macOS and installs like a regular app.

  • For Apple Silicon

Works on any Mac with M1, M2, M3, M4 or newer, no workarounds.

  • Updates itself

On first launch the client downloads the game world, about 1.3 GB, then pulls updates automatically. No need to keep track of patches.

  • Same account as Windows

Same account and same heroes as in the Windows client: play from any computer.

How to install

  1. Download the .dmg image. Open it and drag Zenaria to the “Applications” folder.
  2. Allow the first launch. If macOS says it couldn't verify the developer, open “System Settings → Privacy & Security” and click “Open Anyway”.
  3. Log in to the game. The server address is already inside. Enter your account login and password and create a hero.

FAQ

Does the client work on M1, M2, M3 and M4?

Yes. The client is built for Apple Silicon and works on any Mac with an M1, M2, M3, M4, or newer chip.

What about Intel Macs?

No, the client only supports Apple Silicon. It won't run on Intel Macs.

Do I need Wine, CrossOver, or Parallels?

No. It's a native macOS app with no Windows emulation, installed like a regular program.

macOS says it couldn't verify the developer. What do I do?

The client doesn't have Apple's paid signature, so macOS warns you on first launch. Open “System Settings → Privacy & Security” and click “Open Anyway”. The warning won't appear again.

How much space do I need?

The app itself is about 14 MB. On first launch it downloads the game world, about 1.3 GB. Files are stored in ~/Library/Application Support/Zenaria.

How do I uninstall the client?

Drag Zenaria from “Applications” to the Trash and delete the folder ~/Library/Application Support/Zenaria. Your account and heroes will stay on the server.

Is it free?

Yes. The client and game are free, no pay-to-win.
